Privacy Policy

This policy explains what knowpickleball.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is deliberately short, because the site collects very little.

The short version

• We run no third-party analytics — no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no heatmap or session-recording tools.
• We run no advertising networks. Some pages carry affiliate links, disclosed on the page; following one takes you to the retailer’s site, where their privacy policy and cookies apply, not ours.
• We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
• The only information you can actively give us is your email address, and only if you choose to subscribe or write to us.
• Comments are closed across the site, so there is no comment data to collect.

What we collect

Newsletter subscriptions

If you enter your email address in the subscription form, we store that address so we can send you updates about new guides. The form and mailing list are operated through our hosting provider’s email tool (Hostinger Reach), which processes the address on our behalf. We ask for nothing else — no name, no location.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes your address from the active list. If you would like it deleted entirely rather than just unsubscribed, email us and we will remove it.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply and so we can track corrections that were reported. We do not add addresses that email us to the newsletter list.

Server logs

Like effectively every website, our host records standard server logs: IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. These are generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure, used for security and diagnosing faults, and are not linked to any individual. We do not mine them for analytics.

Cookies

We set no tracking or advertising cookies. Our caching layer may set a strictly functional cookie to serve pages correctly. If you subscribe to the newsletter, the subscription tool may set a cookie to remember that you have already signed up so the form stops asking.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site will break if you do.

Who your information reaches

Two categories of processor, and no one else:

• Our hosting provider (Hostinger), which stores the site, generates server logs and operates the newsletter tool.
• Nobody else. We do not share, sell or trade your information, and we do not run third-party scripts that would collect it independently.

We may disclose information if legally compelled to, which is a sentence every privacy policy contains and which we hope never becomes relevant.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because the only thing we are likely to hold is an email address, these requests are usually resolved in a single reply.

Children

This site is aimed at adults playing a racquet sport. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has subscribed, email us and we will delete the address.

External links

We link to rulebooks, manufacturers and reference sources. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy policy, not ours.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
